I was just made aware of Jim's departure so please forgive my tardiness. I served as Jim's Crew Chief in the 557th TFS at Cam Ranh AB, RVN, during the war. His name was painted on the canopy rail of my F-4C. My sincere condolences to Sandra and family. Everett "E J"Sherwood

Dear Sandi & Family,
We were genuinely sorry to learn of Jim's passing. We know that these past few years have not been easy on either of you. We hope the memories of much happier times will help to ease your sorrow. We sure missed you, both, at the reunions and will remember you in our prayers. 64-C

Dear Sandi
I am sorry to hear of Jims death. I always enjoyed hearing his stories at our 64C reunions. One of my favorites was when he stepped over the display rope and sat down in a martin Baker ejection seat and held up the D ring and said that he had 3 of them hanging in his garage. Again my deepest sympathy for your loss.

I can't express how badly we feel upon hearing of Jim's passing!
We go back so far, and you share those special memories. Time is taking a toll on us, but we still have our memories. Jim was the best! Our deepest sympathy to you all.
