Hubert. ADKINS Obituary

68, of West Palm Beach passed away at his home on November 19, 2012 after a struggle with cancer. He was born in Marianna, Florida moving to this area in 1956. He attended local schools. Hubert was a member of the Southeast Rods & Custom Car Club. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather. Hubert leaves his wife, of 48 years, Doreen, 2 children Bert (Jean) Adkins and Vicki (James ) Helms, 3 grandchildren; Mathew, Daniel, and Megan. His brother Lefty Adkins, 4 sisters; Jewette, Arcie, Mary Jane, and Kathy, brothers and sisters-in-law along with many nieces and nephews. His family will receive friends, at the funeral home, on Tuesday between 6:00 & 8:00 PM, where his life will be celebrated on Wednesday at 2:00 PM. He will be laid to rest immediately following at Lake Worth Memory Gardens. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to

To our dear family--Hubert was definitely the 'funny one' at a party and had a way of making everyone feel welcome. He loved & was loved and that's the meaning of life. We will miss him, for sure, but look so forward to seeing him again. Love & prayers to you all.

My heartfelt thoughts and prayers go out to the Adkins Family. Hubert was an absolute joy to be around. Working with him at Kelly Tractor Co was a blast!! His smile was always warm and his laughter was contagious. What endeared him to me was the devotion and love he had for his family & friends; and especially how he adored his wife Doreen.
Hubert was a very special man and will be missed, but we have sweet memories to comfort us until we see him again in heaven. God Bless...
