I had the honour to meet and swim with Joseph in the Mediteranian Sea while on vacation in Jamaica this past November. I heard of a story going around the resort of this older gentleman who fell and was seriously injured. I introduced myself to this lovely older couple, the male happened to be wearing an arm brace and had some bruising on his face. Joseph and Bianca immediately acknowledged my presence and graciously shared their, or should I say Joe's adventure. I have to give credit to a man of his age still having the intestinal fortitude to continue with the vacation even while on the injury reserved list. Joseph is a very inquisitive gentleman. During our brief friendship the, "Where are you from?" question arose. When I told Joe that my mother was from Brela Yugoslavia, that was it. We were brothers from a different mother! Joe is a wonderful orator and shared some in depth, wonderful stories of the old country and some of the past political/military leaders of the old homeland. I will remember his funny grin while he and Bianca enjoyed their lunch together while overlooking the beach at the Royal Decameron. I looked forward to visiting them in Florida as my parents live there over the winter months as it's too cold up here in Canada. Joseph made a deep impression on me. I will miss the man. "May Joseph be a week in heaven before the devil knows he's dead. Respectfully, Ed Fearon, Toronto, Canada.
