Age 67, was called home to the Lord on February 24, 2013 after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Rueal, daughters Annie (Robert ) Uribe & Elizabeth Jenkins, stepdaughter Michelle Cannon, grandson Jake Uribe, siblings Marvin (Barbara), Joyce (Jim) Dossett, Gary (Lajean), Margaret (Jim) Weaver, Evelyn Kirkland, Janet Faye Della-Pietra, & Fred. He was predeceased by his sister Juanita Nobles & brother Walter. Raised in Miami, Butch was a resident of South Florida his entire life. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise from 1962 to 1965. He toured Europe and was dispatched to the Cuban Missile Crisis. Upon being honorably discharged from the military, Butch ran a successful import/export business. He later found his career passion in carpentry. Butch was a construction superintendent and was enthusiastic about his work and coworkers. He took great pride in his professional accomplishments. He also loved tending to his garden and spending time with his family as well as Nascar & Corvettes, cooking Southern dishes, traveling and providing for his family. A visitation for Butch will be held on Saturday, March 2nd from 1-3PM followed by a 3:00PM service at the Howard-Price Funeral home located at 754 US Highway 1 North Palm Beach, FL 33408. Donations in Butch's name can be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County, (561) 494-6888.
