Casey Mathiew SOOS

Obituary Condolences

SOOS, Casey Mathiew

It is with heartfelt sorrow and regret to inform everyone that Casey Mathiew Soos, 23, has departed our world on November 19, 2013. Casey was born on January 13, 1990 to Terry and Suzanne Soos. He is survived by his wife Alexa, older brother Chris, younger brother Curtis and his wife Elise, grandparents Don and his wife Sharon, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and hundreds of friends. Casey graduated from Seminole Ridge High in 2008. He then joined the US Army as a Petroleum Specialist and served for four years excelling in all he did. His active duty contract ended in March of 2012, leading him and his wife back to South Florida. He became a college student at Palm Beach State with an undecided major - he just knew he wanted to positively impact the world. Little did he know, he changed every life he came into contact with. Casey will be remembered as a wonderful human being with a thirst for knowledge and an awesome sense of humor. His positive vibes were felt instantly, radiating anywhere he was. His smile could light up the room in an instant and all were drawn to him. A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor on Friday at the Palms West Funeral Home & Crematory, 110 Business Park Way, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411, at 11:00 AM. All who wish to pay their respect to this wonderful man are welcome. The family will receive guests at the house he shared with his wife in Royal Palm Beach to continue celebrating this exuberant man. His ashes will be at the South Florida National Cemetery for Veterans, and are to be spread at a beautiful location during a later date. In honor of Casey, we wish for you to take a second to breathe, look up in the sky and appreciate the world surrounding you. Stay positive, and always remember to live life.
