STORM, Charlene McHenry

Charlene McHenry Storm, 80, a longtime resident of Boynton Beach who had recently moved to Longwood, FL, to live near family, passed away Sunday night in Longwood. A widow of Freeman Dirck Storm, Sr., who died in 1990, Char was born in Day Township, Clark County, SD, on September 11, 1933. She was a Daughter of the King member at St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, served also on the altar guild, and volunteered in the church office. She was an avid Florida Marlins fan and loved to travel the world. Survivors include her brother Garth McHenry; sons Doug Kromer and David Kromer; daughter Kathy Stewart; stepsons Steven Storm, Dirck Storm and Tom Storm; and stepdaughter Betsy Whisman; five grandsons and two great-grandsons. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2013, at 1:00 PM, at St. Joseph's Episcopal Church. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions to St. Joseph's Episcopal Church, 3300A S. Seacrest Blvd, Boynton Beach, FL 33425.
