STUART, Edward J. W. "Ed"

EDWARD (Ed) J. W. STUART 1927-2013. Ed Stuart was born in Alton, Illinois on November 12, 1927 and passed away on June 24, 2013 at home with Hospice and his loving daughter Susan (Sue) L. Stuart at his side. Ed is the son of Kenneth and Edythe Stuart of Canada. Ed was married to the love of his life, Margaret (Maggie) Mantle Stuart, for 51 years. He was predeceased by Maggie 2006, as well as his son, William (Bill) J. E. Stuart 2004. He is survived by his loving daughter Sue Stuart of Lake Worth, Florida and his brother, Douglas (Doug) K.M. Stuart, of Tallahassee, Florida. Ed graduated High School from Avonworth (Pittsburgh, P.A.). He lived in Florida for 61 years. Ed went on to serve in the Navy, 1946-1948 and 1950-1951 on the ships USS Palau-CVE722, Midway- CVB-41 and J.C. Owens-DD7756. Ed was the sales representative for office equipment and covered the State of Florida for 28 years, the last 22 years with Avery-Dennison Corporation. Ed ran the Palm Beach Jazz Society which included 40 Jazz jam sessions in the 1980's. "See you soon Maggie."
