Giselle CASEY Obituary
CASEY, Giselle

Giselle (Strycharz) Casey, 89, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, passed away on February 5, 2014. Born on September 10, 1924 in Montreal, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Clothild Boisvert. In 1948, Giselle married the late John Strycharz in Easthampton, MA. They moved their young family to Nashua, NH, where Giselle was employed for many years as a hairdresser at the former House of Charm. After retirement, she and John lived in Hollis, NH before settling in Palm Beach Gardens, FL 25 years ago. Following John's death in April of 1990 in West Palm Beach, Giselle married her second husband, Arthur Casey, in 1995. "Casey" passed away two short years later in 1997. While in Nashua, Giselle was a communicant of the Parish of the Resurrection and then of St. Ignatius Loyola Cathedral in Palm Beach Gardens. As a long-time resident of Garden Walk in Palm Beach Gardens, she was very much an active member of the community. In her leisure time, Giselle loved bowling, going to the gym, daily swimming, anything chocolate, reading, watching The Young and the Restless, shopping, movies, and frequent card games with her friends. Throughout her life, she also enjoyed many travels to various states and countries. Most dear to her heart, however, was being with and sharing all of this with her family, whether in person or on the phone. In addition to John, Arthur, and her parents, Giselle was predeceased by a sister, Jacqueline Connery, a brother, Raymond Boisvert, and son-in-law, Tom Keller. Giselle is survived by her family who will miss their Binga dearly: daughters Sandra (Cates) Keller of Nashua, NH and Julie Bentley and her husband, Steve, of Punta Gorda, FL, her granddaughters and their spouses, Jennifer and Michael Hall and Kimberely and John Bull of Nashua, Kristin and Michael Lyle of Butler, NJ, and Shannon and Marshall Matthews of Oviedo, FL, and her great-grandchildren Alexandrea Giselle and Samantha Hall, Johnathan and Matthew Bull, Travis and Conor Lyle, and Emily and Jake Matthews. She is also survived by her brothers Jules (Bobo) Boisvert of Easthampton, MA and Claude Boisvert of Loxahatchee, FL, as well as her very close friend and companion, Don Holly. A 10:00 AM service will be held on Friday morning, February 7, 2014, at St. Ignatius Loyola Cathedral in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice House Vitas, 1901 South Congress Avenue, Suite 420, Boynton Beach, FL 33426.
