Joseph AMBROSINO Obituary

Joseph Ambrosino, age 92, beloved husband to Carmela (Ella) Fioretti for 67 years, died March 2, 2014. Joe as he was known to all who loved him was born in Hoboken, NJ, May 16, 1921, moved to Holmdel where his family owned and operated Ambrosino Bros. Farm Market. He lived in Monmouth County before moving to Florida 20 years ago. Prior to retirement he owned Twin Boro Motors car dealership with his three brothers in Red Bank, NJ for 55 years. He served as Grand Knight for the Red Bank (NJ) Knights of Columbus Council 3187 and was a Fourth Degree member of Father Andrew Doherty Assembly #0155, Palm Beach Gardens. An avid golfer for 65 years, Joe has 6 sanctioned Holes in One of which he was profoundly proud. One day while driving on 95 in Florida he was stopped by a Florida State Trooper who pulled him over to see if his 5 Holes N 1 license plate was really that. He got quite a chuckle out of that and loved telling that story. He always had a smile on his face, mischievous twinkle in his eyes, was quick-witted and loved to laugh loud and strong, especially while beating anyone at poker. He is survived by his wife, two adoring daughters, Michele Hamilton and Frances Weisman both of Boynton Beach, FL. He called his two sons-in-law, Pat Hamilton and Gil Weisman his buddies. He had three grandchildren, Edward Huss, NJ, Christine McAllister, FL, and Patrick Hamilton, FL, three great-grandchildren and his loving sister-in-law, Anna Hayes; sisters, Florie Caprigilone and Margie Genovese, NJ. He was predeceased by his three brothers. A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, March 5, 2014 with a funeral service to be held 9:30 AM Thursday, March 6, 2014 at BOYNTON MEMORIAL CHAPEL, 800 W.
