Age 89 of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away on November 21, 2012, after a long battle with Alzheimer?s disease. Bob was born and brought up in New York City. He graduated from the Cornell School of Hotel Administration in Ithaca, NY in 1946 after having served honorably in the U.S. Army from 1942 to 1944. He was an entrepreneur and adventurer, starting many businesses from restaurants to computer supply stores. On his 65th birthday he raced with the Skip Barber Racing School Competition Team, and came in 2nd. He was also a stained grass artist, having had a studio in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and his works adorn many churches, monasteries and private homes. But his greatest love was travel. His passion for travel took him from Antarctica to Zanzibar and many places in-between. Bob is survived by his wife of 49 years, Vivian, his sons Robert, Kenrick and Brent, 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral will be private.
