Family-Placed Obituary
SAMUEL H. PASLEY November 1, 1949 - September 1, 2012 Samuel Pasley was born in Peoria, IL to Samuel H. and Lillian H. Pasley. His parents returned to Delray Beach when he was an infant, and he attended schools in Delray Beach and graduated from Seacrest High School. He worked for many years at South Palm Realty with his father and brother. He was predeceased by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Jane Samra Pasley, his daughter Shannon Marie Pasley and his son Samuel Henry Pasley IV, his sister Linda Bell and her husband Paul and his brother Richard Pasley and his wife Sandra. In addition dozens of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends are missing him and mourning his passing. He was a real "sports fan". He enjoyed baseball, football, bowling and golf. After his son began attending FSU, he became an obnoxious Seminole fan. The rest of the family forgave him for it. He was a devout member of St. Mary's Orthodox Church in West Palm Beach and sang in the choir. He was very dedicated to St. Mary's and his faith was unquestioned. Sam always said his greatest treasures were his children. Whether Shannon was in a dance recital or Sam IV was at a bowling tournament or playing or coaching a football game, Sam would try to find a way to be there. More than one trip was made to Tallahassee to go to football games with his son. He spoke daily of his love for his kids. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Tuesday September 4, 2012 with the funeral service beginning promptly at 7:30 PM, at St. Mary's Orthodox Church. Burial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday September 5, 2012 at St. Mary's. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary's Orthodox Church, 1317 Florida Mango Road, West Palm Beach, FL. Casual attire is requested. Happy heavenly birthday. Missing you every day. Your absence has left tremendous voids in the lives of all you left behind. You have two beautiful grandchildren and your kids are both doing well. Jane is still working nearly every day but hopefully she won't have to forever. I love you Bro. Please share my love with my sons and all the other family. Hope there is a golf course up there. We'll tee it up again.

Nine years. How can it be? You just left the office a few days ago to take Jane to dinner. So much has happened and yet so many things will always be the same. It would be impossible for me to tell you how many times I want to call and share something with you. How often I wish we could go grab some lunch. How my heart aches knowing you have two beautiful kids and two beautiful grandchildren that are left without the benefit of your presence. And a wife that probably needs you more than they do. You are so loved and so missed. I love you Bro.

Missing you doesn't go away. Not being able to call you or get your opinion never stops hurting. Not having the guy who was my roommate for his first 17 years doesn't dull the memories. Happy 70th Birthday old timer. Sure wish we could do lunch today and send you home early to take your bride to dinner. I know you had to go, but it doesn't take away the sting. Rough day today Sam. Seems as each day that goes by I miss you more. I'd give anything if you could see this little boy that carries your name. I am so proud that Sam thought it was a good idea and so pleased that Kelly thought so too. Your bride shows me more pictures every time I see her. I love you Bro. Missing you more than ever Sam. Remembering all you did after Dad got sick and what you did for Mom and Dad every day for the rest of your life. You made their lives so much better. There are so many times I want to pick up the phone and tell you something and...... I have a lot to get done here, but I long for the day when we will all be together again. Hey Bro. Just a note to let you know how much you are missed. South Palm continues to be in business, but it will never be the same. I hope you and Mom and Dad are keeping an eye out for me and keeping the demons away. So many of our peers have called me to express their shock and sadness. You were a lot more popular and loved than you had any idea. I speak with Linda frequently. The whole family is doing fairly well. I will write again. I love you Sam.
