THELMA RUTH CARR BUSH Thelma Ruth Carr Bush, 77, of West Palm Beach, FL passed away January 13, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents William Carr and Mary Woodburn Carr of Rose Hill, KS; her sister Virginia Dagel and brothers Elton and Dale. She is survived by brothers Darrell, Jack and Paul; children, Robert, Debra, Cindy and Larry; grandchildren, Martin, Devon, Karensa, Chad, Jonathan, David, Mary, Ryan; and great-grandchildren, Cameron, Kendall, Carter, Alyssa and Anastasia. She was a native of KS and moved to FL in 1973. She worked as a secretary and bookkeeper, and served as treasurer for her HOA since her retirement. She was active in her community, serving on the City Council and volunteering at her church youth center. She enjoyed crafts and sports, and was a huge fan of the Miami Heat. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Memorial will be Friday, January 21, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Del Lago Chapel, 131 South Lakeside Drive, Lake Worth, FL. Bob, Debbie, Cindy and Larry,
We were so sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Aunt Polly was a second mother to us when our own mother could not be there to take care of us. She gave us her time, attention and most of all her love. She will always hold a special place in our hearts.
