GACHE', Jr., William Francis (Bill)

Age 67, passed away November 3, 2013 in Jupiter, FL. after a 2 1/2 year battle with pancreatic cancer. Born on December 4, 1945 in Ancon, Panama Canal Zone to William Sr. and Evelyn Gache'. Bill lived in Windsor, New York as a child and moved to Florida at the age of 15. He graduated from Jupiter High School in 1963 and shortly after opened a furniture and carpet company in Lake Worth. In 1972, Bill opened Woodland Enterprises, Inc. Over the past 40 years, the family run business has constructed hundreds of homes in Palm Beach and Martin County. Bill also owned ReMax Real Estate companies in Lake Worth and Port St. Lucie, Florida. Bill coached his daughters in girl's softball for many years. At one time, he was president of Lake Lytal Lassie League. He continued his coaching after moving to Jupiter in 1989 and was on the Board of Directors at JTAA. Bill and his wife Carol enjoyed traveling all over the world. He was an avid fisherman. Bill has always been the life of the party, the rock to his family and a dedicated friend to many. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Carol, daughter Carla Hansel (Kris), daughter Jennifer Townsend (Eric), daughter Stephanie Sejnoha (Michael), his mother Evelyn Gache, his sister Linda Dorsey, sister Robin Skidmore, sister Kim Williams (Michael), and brother Brad Gache (David). He also leaves 7 grandchildren, Taylor Hansel, Zachary Hansel, Erin Townsend, Emery Townsend, Kayla Sejnoha, Molly June Sejnoha, and Derek Sejnoha. If you would like to make a donation, please make it to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation in Bill's memory. A viewing will be held 4 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 10th at Palms West Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Palm Beach Gardens on Monday, November 11th, 2013 with entombment to follow at Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta.
