BRADWELL, Charles Marshall

72, passed away on April 10, 2014 in West Palm Beach, Florida following a brief illness. A native of Athens, Georgia, he attended Albany High School and graduated from the preparatory division of Gordon Military College in Barnesville. Following graduation from Valdosta State University, he served in the US Navy, where he was stationed at Jacksonville Naval Air Station in Jacksonville, Florida. For many years he owned and operated an outdoor advertising company in Palm Beach County, Florida. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed fishing and sailing on the Florida Coast. His love of fishing and the sea continued when later he moved to Costa Rica, living in several locations, including San Jose , Jaco and San Ramon. He was preceded in death by his parents, the Rev. Dr. Marion Gordon Bradwell and Kathryn Smoot Bradwell. He is survived by two sons, Michael Bradwell and Kerry Bradwell of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; two brothers, Gordon Campbell (Eleanor) Bradwell, of Athens, Georgia and James Sumter (Lynda) Bradwell, of Highlands, North Carolina and John's Island, South Carolina; numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 1:45 PM on Tuesday, April 15th at South Florida VA National Cemetery, 6501 S. State Road 7, Lake Worth, FL 33467. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Dorsey-E. Earl Smith Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 3041 Kirk Road, Lake Worth, FL 33461.
