Edna Louise Pell, 85, of rural Claypool, Indiana, died at 8:20 am, Monday, July 7, 2014 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana. She was born October 16, 1928 in Lagro, Indiana to Burr and Flossie (Sanders) Maple. Edna married Harold Pell in Wabash, Indiana on January 2, 1946. She was a 1946 graduate of Somerset High School. She worked for P & B Distributors, Inc. in Wabash. Edna spent the summer months at Hill Lake in Claypool and spent the winter months in Florida. Edna had lived in both Royal Palm Beach and Wellington for the past 34 years. She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Brown of Lincolnton, North Carolina, 4 grandchildren, Debbie Leonard of Lincolnton, Randy Brown of Wabash, Chelsea (Aaron) Overman of Peru, Indiana, and Lindsay (Dave) Thomas of Kokomo, Indiana, 9 great-grandchildren, Dylan Ashleman and Tyler Ashleman, both of Lincolnton, Bailee Ashleman of Gastonia, North Carolina, Aiden Overman of Peru, Abby Thomas of Kokomo, Connor Overman, Callie Overman, and Cameron Overman, all of Peru and Brantley Thomas of Kokomo, and former husband Harold Pell of Claypool. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sons, Randall and Steven Pell, 3 brothers, and 4 sisters. Graveside services will be 2 pm, Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at Mississinewa Cemetery, Somerset, Indiana with Pastor Kurt Freeman officiating. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
