I will always remember Uncle Bob playing Santa Claus for all the nieces and nephews at Grandma's house on Christmas morning. There was Bill, Gale and me, Judy, Bob's sister Margaret's children. Then there was Steve, Bobby, David and Paulie, his Sister Dorothy Jean's children. And later there was his daughter Kerry Sue. We would all wait with great anticipation. We would look out the windows to catch a sight of Santa. Eagerly listening for the bells he would always carry and shake to ring as he approached. He'd enter through the front door with his best Jolly HO HO HO and we were delighted.
What wonderful memories I have. As years went by, we saw less of Uncle Bob. But, he always remained in my heart no matter how far the distance.
Life takes it's twists and turns, Uncle Bob moved south to Florida and we grew up.
I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to say good-bye and tell him how much I loved him and missed him through the years.
Uncle Bob, you are missed by all your family.
With Loving memories your niece, Judy
