From the Holmes' in Washington DC - we send our love to all Rockefellers. I'll forward the notice to my parents, George and Nancy - my mother told me the news, and we are so sorry to hear it. I have terrific memories of his cheerfulness and kindness to all. Sarah Holmes

Godfrey was a dear friend to our family, always interested in what everyone was up to. He was my anchor on the PNYC Council when I was Commodore. Brad and I had a lovely walk through of his beloved Gibson Island this fall on our way south. We will miss him terribly and send our best love to the entire family.
