A wonderful and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was born on December 21, 1918 in Hull, FL and joined her Heavenly family on January 30, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 50 years, Richard Dean; and a daughter, Barbara Jean Keen. Barbara is survived by two daughters, Darlene Adams (Edward, deceased) of West Palm Beach, and Frances Wigginton (Gerhardt) of Terre Haute, IN; two brothers: H.R. "Buster" Blakley (Pat) of Ft. Myers, FL, and Richard Blakley of Meadview, AZ; three granddaughters, Dawn Richter (Gary) of Nebo, NC, Rachelle Funke (Stuart) of Loxahatchee, FL, and Amy Hughes of Indianapolis, IN; three great grandsons, Cameron and Christian Richter of Nebo, NC, and Bain Funke of Loxahatchee, FL; many nieces and nephews; and many special friends who have been like family through the years. Barbara was a very devoted member of Holy Spirit Episcopal Church in West Palm Beach, having served as an Altar Guild Directress, arranging the beautiful altar flowers every Sunday for more than 25 years. She also hand stitched priest vestments and altar linens, made some of the cushions that ring the altar rail, and made hundreds of crosses and butterflies for Cursillo services. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at Holy Spirit Episcopal Church, 1003 Allendale Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33405, with Rev. Hallock Martin, Rector, officiating.
