MUSH, James S.

Age 84, of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, passed away on February 16, 2013. He was born on November 25, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois to Mihali and Catherine Mush. James grew up in Detroit, Michigan. He served in the U.S. Navy for two years before building his career in Detroit Michigan. After two years at Hudson Motor Car Co., he worked in the tool and die industry for six years. He then started Norwood Precision Products, Inc., serving the aerospace industry, and the company flourished under his direction for nearly three decades. Among his many accomplishments was having highly specialized gear parts built in his factory placed in the first Lunar Exploratory Module (LEM) that landed on the moon. He retired in 1985. James married Bonnie Mush in 1995 in Stuart, Florida. They were happily married for 18 years. James was preceded in death by his parents, Mihali and Catherine Mush, and by his siblings, Mary Markovich (Steve) and George Mush (Ursula.) His memory will forever be cherished by his spouse, Bonnie of Palm Beach Gardens; his sons Michael (Katie) of Birmingham Michigan, James (Linda) of Wyandotte, Michigan, and Paul (Leigh), of Mill Valley, California; his daughters, Kathleen Altork of Asheville, North Carolina, and Jaime Mush of Tucson, Arizona; his niece Mary Kay Pryce (Wayne); his stepdaughter, Mari Fasulo (Tom) of Jupiter, Florida; his stepsons Mark Neary (Stephanie) of Palm Beach Shores, FL and Todd Neary (Dori) of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida; grandchildren, James Willard Mush, Michael Mush, Jason Mush, Lily Altork, Jordan Altork, Paul Steven Mush, Damian Mush, Amy Mush, Ilyana Mush, Maxwell Mush, Nicholas Mush, Nina Mush, Nicholas Fasulo, Olivia Fasulo, Ava Neary, Shayn Neary, and Trent Neary; great grandchildren Ella Mush, Jackson Mush, and Naomi Mush, Patrick Mush, and Georgia Caroline Mush; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held for James on Friday, February 22, 2013 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida for close family and friends. A second private memorial gathering will be held on May 3, 2013 in Detroit, Michigan. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations may be made to Hospice of Palm Beach County.
