KAZANJIAN, Mugardish "Sonny"

Age 81, of Palm Beach Gardens, FL passed away on February 28, 2013 surrounded by his loving family. Sonny graduated from Lowell High School in Lowell, MA and served in the Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War. He and his family owned and operated Kazanjian's Garage in Lowell, MA for more than 60 years. Sonny was dedicated to serving other people and was a past member of the Elks Club in Lowell. He retired to Florida in 1984 and was a member of the American Legion in Palm Beach Gardens and the North Palm Beach Country Club. An avid golfer, Sonny spent many happy years on the golf courses of Cape Cod, MA and North Palm Beach, FL. He was a true people person who brought out the best in others. He brightened the day of everyone he touched, including the caring professionals who cared for him through his difficult illness. The family thanks all of them. He was predeceased by his brother, Dennis Kazanjian and granddaughter, Kaitlin Kazanjian. Left to cherish his memory are his wife and best friend of 61 years, Margie (Yeranosian) Kazanjian; sons, Michael (Denise) Kazanjian of Dracut, MA, Alan (Sue Ellen) Kazanjian of Dracut, MA, John (Joanne) Kazanjian of Stuart, FL; daughter, Mary Beth Kazanjian (T.J. McCarthy) of Lowell, MA; brother, Jon (Anne) Kazanjian of Lowell, MA; grandchildren, John, Kristen, Nicole, Scott, Alyssa, Lauren, Michael, Jaime, Christopher and Jarrett Kazanjian, three great-grandchildren, and aunt, Libby Kayajanian of Dracut, MA. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Morse-Bayliss Funeral Home, 122 Princeton Boulevard in Lowell, MA. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, March 4, 2013 at St. Vartanantz Armenian Church in Chelmsford, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy to be sent to the Kaitlin Kazanjian Charity Fund, 2100 N. Florida Mango Road, West Palm Beach, FL 33409.
