KULE, Bernard Joseph

92, of Delray Beach, Florida, peacefully passed on Sunday the 5th of May. He was born in Glenn Lyon, Pennsylvania, September 14, 1920. Bernard graduated from Rutgers University. He met and married his late wife Beatriz Videla Kule in Santiago, Chile, in 1944 while serving as a Chief Yeoman in the US Navy. He worked in the Office of Naval Intelligence and was entrusted with "for the Presidents Eyes Only," documents, an honor he enjoyed recalling to his children and grandchildren. After a successful career in sales, with Quaker Oats, Bates Chemical Company, and Gardenville, all based in PA, Bernard semi-retired to North Palm Beach, FL. Once established he worked with Sporting Goods Manufacturers of America (SGMA) where he enjoyed mentoring fellow employees. Bernard is survived by eight children, Chris, Ron, John, and Tom Kule, Beatriz Erhardt, Alicia DeGowin, Terry Pfeil and Francesca Kennedy both of Delray Beach, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral service was held at St. Vincent Ferrer the Catholic Church he attended daily in the later years of his life.
