David James Mattheu, 53, of Lake Worth, passed away on May 14, 2013. He is survived by his daughters, Amanda (Mark) Neill, Brittany Heimbach; three brothers, John (Barbara) Mattheu, Louis Mattheu, Robert Mattheu; two sisters, Joann (John L.) Sullivan, Patricia Rutter; five granddaughters, Sarah, Jacinda, Ailani, McKenzie and Emma. He was predeceased by his son, David in 2010. Friends may call on Wednesday, May 22, 2013 from 5:00PM to 6:30PM with a 6:30PM funeral service at the LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 NE 6th Ave. (North Federal Hwy.) Delray Beach. I will never meet anybody else like my dear friend Dave. I will hold tight of all of the wonderful memories and laughs that we shared. He touched so many lives. I will truly miss him. May God bless you and keep you in his arms. Love you always.

I cannot believe that one of my best friends growing up in Middlesex has died. I have so many great stories and memories about and shared with Dave, going back almost fifty years to first grade. I will miss you brother. I hope your family gains strength from all of their wonderful memories shared with you. RIP Dave.

Dad i dont even know where to begin. I miss you so much already. I thank god everyday for bringing you into my life. You have brought so much joy, laughter and love into mine and McKenzie's life. McKenzie misses you so much. I love you dad very much and I am so proud of everything you have done. words can not express how much you are going to be missed.
