Tom and Bob,
Sorry to read of your dad's passing. Your mom and dad were neighbors across the street on Laurel Drive, in Fair Haven, of our parents, Jesse and Elsie, and they were active together in the fire department.

I am so sorry to hear Mr. Vetterl has passed away. The last time I saw him was when he came to my father's wake. I remember him coming up to me and asking me if I knew him. I said of course--you haven't changed. He told me about the problems he was having with his knees and me having MS. What I remember most was growing up next door. I never heard him yell. Even when the two of you played baseball in the back yard and broke the basement window. If I recall you each blamed the other--whether Tommy threw the ball or Bobby missed hitting it or the other way around! Anyway, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I'm sure both of our parents are living next door and watching over us all.

Love,

Gale

Tom and Bob, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your families. I remember your dad like it was yesterday. Me watching him play softball with the fire company as I was growing up. He was a great guy.
