STANLEY SPENOL Sept. 9, 1925 - March 11, 2014 Stanley Spenol was born to Nicholas and Dora Spenol in Saskatchewan, Canada on Sept. 9, 1925. He passed away on March 11, 2014 at Life House Cypress in Paradise, CA, of complications of pneumonia and Alzheimer's disease at the age of 88. Stan was married to his wife Olga for 64 years, he had 3 daughters, Gayle Sommer of Benicia, CA, Janet Schaefer of Napa, CA and Karen Dalske of Red Bluff, CA. Sisters Lillian Leoppky of Seattle, WA and Ella Kostaschuik of Kelowna, BC, 7 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Stan worked as a Building Maintenance Engineer for many years. He managed maintenance at Arden Fair Shopping Center in Sacramento, CA where they lived for many years. He was also Maintenance Supervisor for Placer County Office of Education in Auburn, CA where he was in charge of all district schools. He retired in 1989 and moved to Paradise in 1990. He repaired old clocks for many people; big and small. He was know as "Stan the Clock Man". He also built Grandfather clocks for each of his daughters and a Vienna clock for his daughter Janet, and grandson, James. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 25, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Craig Memorial Congregational Church. Interment will be at Paradise Cemetery in Paradise, CA Services are under the direction of Rose Chapel Mortuary 877-4923
