GEORG VON MULDAU Georg von Muldau passed on May 10, 2014. He was born on March 21, 1949 in Queekborn, Germany. He came to the US on Aug. 16, 1956 at the age of 7 with his mother, sister and two brothers. He was the youngest of four. Georg lived in Syracuse, NY before coming to California in 1964. He attended Wilcox High School in Santa Clara, California and went to Deanza College in Cupertino. He studied photography and art. He was a sign painter for many years in San Jose before coming to Paradise in 2006. He opened Sign Graphics with partner, Carl Smith, Many of his works can be seen throughout Paradise. Georg is survived by his daughter, Heather of Alameda, son, Joshua of Pleasant Hill, sister, Marianne of Chico, brothers, Eugen of Paradise and Andreas of Converse, Texas and four grandchildren. Georg is also survived by fiance', Susan Maurer of Paradise. Susan was Georg's soul mate and always provided her with a daily dose of sunshine. A memorial service for family and friends will be held on Saturday. May 17, 2014 from 1-4 PM at the Apple Tree Village Clubhouse. Donations may be made to Pancreatic Cancer Research. Arrangements under the direction of Rose Chapel Mortuary.
