Robert Carl "Bob" Anderson, 89, of Paradise, CA; owner of R.C. Anderson Taxidermy passed away on September 27, 2013, from liver cancer.
Bob was born in San Diego, CA on December 30, 1923. After graduating from San Diego High School, he enlisted in the U.S.
. Private 1st class Anderson was awarded the
for combat injuries sustained while serving under George S. Patton.
In 1946 Robert married Ann Harper and had three children. In 1970 Robert moved to Paradise CA where he became a distinguished and highly respected taxidermist. Bob was a lover of nature which he expressed through his rare artistic talent. A private service is planned for later in the year in San Diego.
His steadfast work ethic, kind gentle approach and resilient sense of humor endured him to valued customers as well as friends and family.
Bob is survived by his son, Don Anderson, daughters, Pamela Lawless, and Theresa Peters, and step-daughter, Gail Schwabenland; brother, Donald Anderson, sister, Betty Herndon, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was a kind and caring man who's lifelike creations will continue to give pleasure to all who see them.
