Van I. Anderson passed away in Paradise on December 30, 2009 at the age of 69 after a long illness. Van was born in North Dakota to Leonard and Verree Anderson on June 22, 1940.
Van was a fireman for the Town of Paradise for 31 years. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed life. He had many hobbies that included photography, boating, RVing, but his passion was riding his Harley.
Van is survived by his loving wife, Dixie; four daughters, Ruth Fox, Sandi Anderson, Toby Montgomery and Stacey Conners; one son, Jim Fox, all of California; brother, Dennis Anderson; three sisters, Charlotte Gilbert, Roberta Bennett and Connie Franklin, all of Washington. Van was predeceased by his parents and two sons.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the family home on January 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Rose Chapel is handling the arrangements.
