Walter Joseph Huchro departed life on December 26, 2011. He was 85 years old. Born in Chicago, IL, Walt served in World War II, Army Air Force Regimen. He was recognized for honorary rank of Cadet Aircraftsman in the U.S Navy, Bureau of Aeronautics in 1942. In 1948 he received his private pilot's license from the Western Legion, U.S. Department of Commerce Civil Aeronautics Administration. Walt spent most of his career working for Southern Pacific Railroad.
Walt is survived by his 3 children, Edward, Monica & Annette, including 2 grandchildren, Jessie & Max.
Mass will be held on Thursday, August 15, 2013, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church with a 10:00 a.m. Veteran's honor guard service at the Paradise Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest next to his late wife Anne.
