(Jackie) Dianne Phimister passed away on March 27th of this year at her home in Paradise. Wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and Southern Belle, Dianne radiated charm and tact seldom seen in today's world. She was born in Spartenburg, South Carolina to Joe and Thelma Hughes. Dianne graduated from Napa High School in 1962 and worked as a hair stylist for 35 years. She was married for 30 years to Donald Phimister, who preceded her in death in 2007. Don was an Air Force Veteran of the Korean War who operated heavy equipment most of his life. Dianne is survived by her mother Thelma Hughes, her children; Brenda (Christopher) and Corie, (Edward), Don's children; Kathrina (Martin), DJ (Kathie), Anthony (Barbara), Pam, Cindy (Jason), Donald Jr., Patrick (Arianne), 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Diane and Don will be interred together at the Santa Rosa Memorial Park and Mortuary on October 6th at 1 pm with Military Honors. A reception will be provided at Brenda's house in Sebastopol at the completion of the ceremonies (directions will be provided at the services).
