Aldrae Lillian Nunes Obituary
ALDRAE LILLIAN NUNES Aldrae Lillian Nunes was taken to her Heavenly Home Sunday morning, December 8, 2013. Lillian, was born on October 24, 1921 in Gratiot, Wisconsin to Matilda and George Robertson. She served in the Air Force during World War II, where she met and married her husband, Francis, of 64 years. She later opened her home to child day care and retired holding the oldest active day-care license in Santa Clara County. After retirement they moved to Magalia and became active in the Paradise Rod and Gun Club. She was a faithful parishioner at the St. Thomas More Catholic Church, a strong supporter of Veterans and a loyal member of the NRA. Lillian was a devoted wife, mother, Grandmother and Great grand-mother. She will be missed deeply by her family and friends. She is survived by a sister, Arlene Raisbeck, her children George/Glendine, Alan/Ellen, Val/Jeff, Chris, Kim/Dennis, Grandchildren, Great -Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband; Francis Nunes, her daughter; Georgia Lou Benson-Nunes and two Grandsons; Tyson Nunes and Tim Benson. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made, in her name, to the Paradise Hospice Home on Bille Road.
