The family of Aaron Kent Alford is deeply saddened by his untimely and tragic passing.

He was the youngest of three sons born to Robert L. and Gloria M. Alford in Kent, Ohio.

Aaron was a passionate and successful athlete. He played football for Colorado State University, graduating with a Bachelors of Arts in Science and a Masters in Higher Education.

His passion for football led to a career in coaching, leading, and mentoring young men. He coached Football at CSU, Southern Utah University from 1999-2000, Western Illinois 2001, Wyoming in 2002, Akron 2004-2006, and University of Utah 2007-2010 during their 13-0 Sugar Bowl season!

Aaron was recently the Executive Director of New Beginnings Behavioral Treatment Agency in West Jordan, a center for troubled youth. He was also selected and hired as the Athletic Director for Park City High School and simultaneously served on the Ute Conference Board.

Aaron was a devoted Christian. His love for the Lord shone through every interaction he had. His passion in life was God, his family, youth, and sports.
