Codi and Bo, Our deepest condolences. Your Dad was one of the finest examples of what life should be. I met him in '82 in Del Rio and have treasured his friendship since then. He spoke of both of you often and fondly and those were the times I shared with your dad that I treasure the most. May the grace of god be with you through this difficult time.

We flew together. We did ski weeks, Mardi Gras, and the BVI. I always just enjoyed being around Chuck. This is a tremendous loss for the world. It was a better place with Chuck in it. He will be sorely missed by everyone that came into contact with him.

October 30, 2014

I never had the pleasure of knowing Chuck, but truly felt the love that everyone had for him, and his love of Linda. He touched the lives of so many, will be missed. To those of you that knew him, know that your lives are richer for having known him., and what a gift you have been given to have had him in your life. My thoughts and prayers are with Linda and Chuck's family.

Chuck's ever-present smile and laughing spirit are really going to be missed. He had such a positive impact on so many people and was a great friend. He helped me get my dream job with Delta, and was a great mentor and leader on the ski hill. Chuck was one of the best of us, and I'm going to miss him.

Chuck was a great man, father, friend, pilot and partner. His warming smile and great demeanor will be sorely missed!

My wife Kim knew Chuck from way back during the heyday of the Delta Ski Club, and I know she respected and loved him like everyone who knew him did. We will miss his huge heart, generosity, easy-going personality and irrepressible sense of humor. As one of his close friends asked recently 'have you ever seen this man without a smile?' He always had a smile and a kind word for his friends, and a helping hand for those in need. His sudden passing leaves a huge hole in so many lives, we will always feel the loss, and won't forget. Godspeed.

The best pilot ever, always made people smile and laugh. Linda I will always hold on to our memories, oh the fun and laughs we have had, especially a night not to long ago, Holding you close to my heart always.

Chuck was a true, great friend that helped guide me through Pilot Training and, eventually, flew my Cross Country in T-38s. He was a great balance of fun and intensity. We've kept in touch ever since and, everytime I ran into Chuck, it was a good experience. Kathy and I will miss him greatly.

Chuck was such a class act. I was on call once in Salt Lake and he was going to be on a trip. He offered me the use of his car and house as long as I "replaced any beer I drank!" In addition to being a great pilot, he was a great guy, and will be keenly missed.

My deepest sympathies to you Linda, and all of Chuck's family. I am so saddenened by Chuck's passing, he was the finest of fellow pilots. I will never walk through the Salt Lake Airport without thinking of him, and will probably still be looking for his face whenever I walk the concourse.
