Bill L. "Sonny" Reeves

Bill Ledoit Reeves "Sonny", 79, of Wimberley, TX passed away Monday, January 6, 2014. He was born in Dublin, TX on October 16, 1934 to parents Irving and Rosalie Reeves. After graduating from Pasadena High School, he served 4 years in the U. S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. Sonny worked as Project Manager for Brown & Root at the Exxon refinery in Baytown and enjoyed a long time membership in the Executive Hunting Club of Pasadena. He retired to Wimberley, TX where he was an active member of Chapel in the Hills Church, the Masonic Lodge #1445 as a 50 year Mason, and the Shriners International organization. His hobbies included tinkering in the garage, owning Cadillacs and never missing a Wimberley Texans High School football game. Sonny is survived by wife, Jean Ann Reeves, daughter, Missi Pesl of Pasadena, 2 step-daughters, Becky Marshall of Dallas and Jamye Echarte of Wimberley and 1 step-son, Bobby Chidester of Pasadena. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, January 11th, at the Chapel in the Hills Church in Wimberley. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Masonic Lodge #1445 in Wimberley would certainly be appreciated.
