Michael Amador

Michael Amador, Sr. went to be with the Lord on February 28, 2014. He was born on January 13, 1941 to Mike and Sally Amador in Houston, Texas. Michael Sr. was a proud native Texan who served as a Volunteer Firefighter, Fire Marshall and cherished his 30 years as a South Houston Police Officer before retiring to his humble home in Livingston, Texas.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving children Cynthia and husband Dimas, Michael Jr. and Janet, Christina, Laura, Lisa and Michael V., along with his 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, sisters Ronnie, Judy, Melitta and her husband David, brother Martin and his wife Cozette, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and his beautiful ex-wives Angela and Cindy.

Michael loved scuba diving, fishing, gardening, raising his Chihuahua puppies, spending quality time at his cousin's Chuck's house, helping others and hanging out with his friends at "Fat Boys" restaurant in Livingston, Texas.

Michael was a very loving, caring and giving man. Wherever he went, he'd always make friends and share some laughter. He will be missed by many.

The family will receive friends from 6:00pm until 8:00pm Wednesday, March 5, 2014, and the funeral service will be at 10:00am Thursday, March 6, 2014, all held at Niday-Fairmont Funeral Home in Pasadena. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
