Carole Graff Obituary

Carole Irene Graff , age 75, of Pasadena TX, died on the morning of Friday October 17, 2014. She was born on May 28,1939 in Billings, Montana to Irene (Mathews) Brogan and William Graff. Following graduation from Brownsville High School she attended Southwestern University as a vocal major. She was a member of Phi Mu sorority and performed with the acapella choir. Following graduation she began her career teaching elementary music for the Pasadena Independent School District where she eventually retired. Carole was a dedicated troop leader for the Girls Scouts of America and a vocalist at church and, later, a community choral group. As a long term professional cat breeder, she was active with the Houston Cat Club including one year as President in 1977. Carole is survived by her children, Deborah Nafzger, Rachel Sebesta, Daniel Sebesta, three grandchildren, a great granchild and her brother, Charles Graff. A private gathering will be held at the Trickham Cemetery in Coleman County, Texas.

Thank you Rachel, for giving me the opportunity to get to know your extraordinary mother over the last 4 years. There is no one other person like her. Carole will be missed by her friends and extended family here at Oak Shadows.
