May I offer my condolences to Mr. Wright's family. As a life time Buffalo Bills fan, I first learned about Mr. Wright as the artist who influenced hundreds-of-thousands of people, this morning in the Buffalo News. I would like very much to see more of Stevens Wright art to honor him and in appreciation of his talent and his artistic gifts. [email protected]

Hey Dad,
We've been sorting through your artwork for the past several days. You once called yourself a "lazy artist" but after seeing the breadth of your work, I strongly (and lovingly) disagree. Even the "scraps" are so fun to look at.

You've only been gone a few days and the weight of our loss is becoming clear. So glad for the connection we had in your final years.

Right now we're putting together the elements for the Memorial Service on what would have been your eighty-second birthday. Not sure you would agree with paintings we're selecting to display because, truth is, we love all your stuff.

I love you Dad and I will miss you.
your son,

Steve Wright

Heard about this from sister Sandy this morning. Out of touch for a long time, but the memories of Steve and all of the Wright family I have from Linda Way in Los Al are still my most cherished. The 4th of July photos Shannon shared with us a few years ago rekindled that fact. Life was never better. Hope to see you all again sometime, this side or the other.
Godspeed Steve.From [email protected]

I will miss Uncle Steve. I hold memories as a child at having him teach me how to draw funny comical cats. He reminded me at the young age of nine that drawing was simple. (Maybe for him but never for me) In past few years I would run into him at various doctor offices and he was always making sure to ask about my family, my redhead granddaughters and give me a big hug.

My sympathies go out to his family at their great loss. His children have lost a fine father and a one of their biggest fans. He leaves behind three wonderful adult children who he has always been immensely proud of. Xxxxoxxx

As your first born, I'm the first to write in the guest book. I really miss you. It's hard going to your house and not having you there. The chair is empty but you're always with us. I love you.
