SPARKS, Willie Dillard
Willie Dillard Sparks was born Erich Oklahoma December 2nd 1921 to a John and May Sparks, May sparks and the seven children ( Willie Sparks being the youngest) lived in the oil fields in a tent did odd jobs to get by. Later in years moved to texas there he attened Dumas high school later attened 1 year of college did some wheat farming worked the post office and also worked for shamrock oil refinery. Married Molly Jo McDade May 2, 1941 later inlisted in the army air core was trained as a navigator in a B24 liberator (four beers doc) was shipped over seas was place in 492 bomb group. returned home to dumas texas later in 1947 went to California to help his three bros in sparks auto parts, later son William David Sparks joined Sparks Auto Part , the business was sold February 2002. Molly Jo Sparks died December 1, 2000, willie remaried January 1, 2007 to Phylis Bromberek which she passed away November 17, 2012 Willie Dillard Sparks passed on November 21, 2012, he is survived be his son William David Sparks, daughter JoAnn Lopez, Granddaughter Charitie McArther Grandson Chad William Sparks. Willie D Sparks died in home in Sierra Madre California. The memorial service we be held at Methdist Chruch 695 W. Sierra Madre Blvd., Sierra Madre Ca on Saturday January 26th at 11:00 am
