ANNA MARGARET TRUE "PEGGY"
March 29, 1948 - July 12, 2013
Peggy was born in Glendale, California and lived most of her life in the San Fernando Valley. She was among the first to graduate from then-new Monroe High School in 1966.
After high school she attended San Fernando Valley State College. There she met Deryck Tufts True and they were married in 1970. In 1973, after Deryck's discharge from the Navy, he and Peggy attended classes at CSUN to complete their Bachelor degrees. Peggy balanced caring for her family with part time work as a bookkeeper and office manager for the Unitarian Universalist Church of Studio City.
Peggy struggled with serious health challenges for most of her life. She passed away peacefully in the arms of her loving husband, and is survived by Deryck; son, Colin; daughter, Kelly; daughter-in-law, Jelizabeth; and grandson, Lincoln; along with extended family and friends.
