Frank William Russo
July 22, 1930 - December 14, 2012
Frank went home to the Lord, passing away peacefully in his sleep. He was a former 35 year resident of Rialto. Frank grew up in Queens, NY. He joined the US Air Force
after high school. While stationed in Japan, he married Keiko Tenjinbyashi, remaining wed just short of 50 years, when Keiko passed away in 2001. He used his skills as a graphic artist in the Service, including illustrating a comic strip for the military paper. Upon retirement, Frank settled his family in Rialto. He worked for AM Lewis and various other graphic art jobs. He earned his AA in advertising/marketing from SB Valley College. Frank enjoyed playing board games (owning probably 100 games!) and the works of Walt Disney. He was cared for by his eldest daughter, Barbara Dooley, and her husband Roland, residing in their Lake Arrowhead home for many years. He most recently lived with daughter Jo Ann Russo, having just moved to Carson City, NV. In addition to Barbara (Roland) and Jo Ann, Frank is survived by Paul of Mississippi, Angela Greenfield (Jon) of Redlands, grandchildren Holly, Khristine, Michelle, Jennifer, Ben, Sarah, Greg, Sean and Andrew, 15 great-grandchildren, and long time family friends, Toshiko and Tony. A service will be held at Riverside National Cemetery on Jan 24 at 1:00, Staging Area 1.
