Carolyn McCarron Brink

In Loving Memory of Carolyn McCarron Brink July 1, 1931 - July 9, 2011 80, passed away peacefully July 9, at her home in Arcadia (which she designed), was an architect, wife, mother and grandmother. She graduated from the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California, as a Tau Sigma Delta Scholastic Honorary. Carolyn was a member of Delta Delta Delta at USC and was President of the Theta Xi Chapter House Corporation of "Tridelta" for over 10 years,the Pasadena/Foothills AIA, PEO Chapter KD in Glendale, and San Gabriel Valley Alumnae Panhellenic She was licensed California Architect since 1957 and also served the City of Arcadia as a member (and chairman) of the Planning Commission. Carolyn worked as an architect for HMC and the at Kasier Permanente until her retirement Carolyn was preceded in death by her identical twin, Marilyn McCarron Urmston (who was an an architect) as well as her parents, Cyrus D. McCarron and Marion A. McCarron. Carolyn is survived by her husband of over 53 years Laurence K. Brink Jr., and her sons Steve Brink of Arcadia, California, and Burton Brink of La Verne, California. She is also survived by her beloved grandsons, Brian Brink, Tyler Brink, Brendan Brink, Roberto (Bob) Brink and Shawn Smallridge. Services will be Friday, July 22nd at Forest Lawn, Glendale at 1:30 P.M. at Wee Kirk o'the Heather. Reception following at the Tam O'Shanter on Los Feloz Blvd, Glendale
