As a co-chairs of Mike's 1963 50th reunion at San Marino High, we were so saddened to hear of his passing. In reading all the comments his parisheners have left about him, we are saddened to have not known him as an adult and a priest. The accolades about his time as a priest speak very highly of his character, integrity, and devotion to his parisioners. Yes, Father Mike, you will be missed by so many you befriended over your lifetime. God Bless!

Fr. Mike will truly be missed. He was the best priest; so kind and considerate. Knowing him was a blessing.

Father Mike was the nicest priest in the world. No matter how busy he was, he always had the time to talk to people or hear their confessions, never putting them off until another day. He always treated everyone the same, no matter what their background was, always smiling his beautiful smile. He officiated at 3 of my children's weddings, baptized my daughter-in-law, officiated at my brother-in-law's funeral, and gave my youngest her First Holy Communion. He visited my husband and me in the hospital, always cheering us up with a joke. He was always there for us in good times and bad. We were honored to have a priest as part of our family. He loved to come to dinner at our house and bring his goofy dog, Jordie, who I am sure was there to greet him when he went to Heaven. Father Mike told me to tell people that I was "his nurse." I had the supreme honor of taking him to his chemotherapy treatments these last few months, and be there his last two days. He never complained about any of his suffering. He is truly a saint. Father Mike, I will miss you as my priest and best friend. We love you! Cathy, Norm, Norman, Paul, Donna, Theresa, Robert, Catherine, Nick, Patricia, Patrick, Chris, and Mary Martell

My wife & I have lived in Adelanto for 81/2 years. Except for a brief time when we were looking for a Parish to call ours we were members of Christ the Good Shepherd Church. During that time we came to know Fr Mike as our Pastor & friend. He's now in Gods loving arms. I'm quite sure that God welcomed him & said "well done my good & faithfull servant". Our thoughts & prayers go out to his family. May Fr Mike now rest in peace.

The time that Fr. Mike spent a St. Georges was a blessing for me. I never forgot his kindness or how special he made me feel. He helped grow my Christian faith and he encouraged me to read my Bible for the anwers I was looking for in my life. I was a young teenager when Fr. Mike left St Georges but what an impact he has had one my life. Fr. Mike was a good man and will be missed. Jean Barclay Prohidney
