Armida Davila (Tita) of Whittier California, born March 4, 1928, loving mother of 7 daughters, passed away March 11, 2014 surrounded by her loving family. She was born and raised in Los Angeles California. She attended John H. Francis Polytechnic High School where she graduated with honors.
She married the love of her life in 1950, a World War II Paratrooper Army Air Core Veteran named Jose David Davila. They had 6 daughters Patricia, Valerie, Ann, Linda, Helen and Cathy. After moving to Whittier with the family Armida was left a widow at the age of 37 having to raise 6 daughters on her own. She also needed to learn to drive a car. She went back to school and secured a job at El Rancho Unified School District. 10 years later she re-married and had her 7th daughter, Michelle.
She will be greatly missed. She leaves 7 daughters, 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren in her legacy who all have been touched by her loving fingerprints.
