STRATTON, Edward Litchfield

Edward Litchfield Stratton, age 86, passed away on November 1, 2013 in Valinda, California. He was born on September 26, 1927 in Topeka, Kansas. He lived in the area for 65 years and was a member of the American Legion. He proudly served in the Navy from 1945 to 1949 on the USS Mansfield. Later as a crane operator he installed the "A" on the Angel Stadium and hung all the lights around it. He loved the swap meet and made many friends. He is survived by his wife of over 65 years, Jean Anita Stratton, seven children, Larry Lee, Daniel Boyd, Sondra Jean, Thomas Litchfield, Dona Marie, Jeanita Ann and Catherine Noreen, 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grand children. He will be in our hearts and memories forever. Services are on November 7, 2013 at 10:00 am at Custer Christiansen Mortuary in Covina.
