Jack N. Sisk, 89, died in his sleep at his Toluca Lake, California home Sunday, May 13, 2012 of natural causes.

Jack Nesbit Sisk born to William Alvin Sisk and Carrie May Sisk on August 2nd 1922 in Hereford Texas. His family came to California when he was just 7 years old. Growing up with modest means he taught himself the craft of auto repair. After his service in WWII he worked for a frustrated homebuilder who could not get concrete for his projects. Jack's mechanical skills served the newly inspired Skyline Concrete Sales, of which he was a founding partner and ultimate sole shareholder. He supplied concrete in the San Fernando Valley for over 40 years until his retirement in 1988.

He and his late wife Gloria of 50 years traveled the World on countless cruises. They belonged to Lakeside Golf Club and Riviera Country Club.

Jack is survived by four of his children: Cynthia Sisk; Chad Sisk, wife Rubylyn; Matthew Sisk, wife Janet; Bradley Sisk; and three grandchildren. Predeceased by his wife, siblings and one daughter: Gloria Y. Sisk, Lola Mae Sisk, William A. Sisk Jr. (Bart), Mary L. Connell, Peggy J. Phillips and Linda C. Williams.

Funeral services will be held at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills, Church of the Hills, on Wednesday, May 23rd, 9:30 a.m. Interment at "Serenity" follows. We invite you to visit Jack at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills on Monday, May 21st, from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. or Tuesday, May 22nd, 12:00 to 8:00 p.m.

Please join us for a celebration of his life after the interment Wednesday, May, 23rd, at The Smokehouse, 4420 Lakeside Dr., in Burbank.
