Mary Claire Rudiger
Made her final journey to be with the Lord on March 20, 2013. Claire was born April 11, 1931 in New York to Claude and Olive Davis. Claire and her husband Tom, moved from New York to Claremont, Ca in 1958. With patience and virtue, she and Tom raised their family focusing on education, exploration, religion and fun. Claire held a Master's Degree in Mathematics from Albertus Magnus College in New York. She was a devoted member of Our Lady of the Assumption Church in Claremont for fifty years. Claire enjoyed reading, sewing, playing golf, spending time with family, and helping others. She loved the great outdoors and had a passion for early Native American culture. She dedicated her thirty year career to the Claremont Unified School District, working as a Library/Media Tech. Claire is remembered for her unwavering faith, honesty and profound ability to forgive. She was a sincere, loving woman, full of integrity and known for her calmness, kindness, patience, and determination.
Claire was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Rudiger, and daughter, Ellen Blake, and is survived by her two sons, Paul Rudiger [Robin] and Mark Rudiger [Vickie], her two grand daughters and four great grandchildren.
