Norman Bradley was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Glendale. He enlisted in the Navy at 17 and served during the last days of WW II. He was honorably discharged and attended
, graduating in 1951 with a degree in Geology.
He was a Registered Civil Engineer and Geologist and worked for 32 years with the Los Angeles Flood Control District. During his career he was promoted to Supervising Field Civil Engineer managing 360 employees. He was responsible for building and maintaining the county's flood control and water conservation systems during the city's expansion from the 1950's to the 1980's.
Norman was an avid linguist and world traveler. He was active in many civic organizations in Pasadena, where he lived with his wife Trudi. His day always started with a run around the Rose Bowl, an activity he kept up until his late 70's.
Norman will be remembered with love by his wife of 49 years, Trudi, his four children, her two children, their seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, and his sister, Helen.
A private service will be held for Norman on February 22nd Villa Gardens in Pasadena.
