Pamela Ann Mott-Smith
61, resident of Highland, California, passed away, January 19th, 2014 at Loma Linda Medical Center from natural causes. She was a Daughter, a Wife, an Aunt, Mother and Grandmother. Never alone, she was surrounded and passed peacefully with family by her side. She knew with absolute certainty that she was encircled in prayer and supported by her loving family during the last days and moments of her life.
She was born in Los Angeles, at St. Vincent Hospital, February 8th, 1952, the Daughter of Carl and Florence Berry. Pamela attended California State San Bernardino and received her degree in Paralegal Studies.
She spent her working career in the Probation Department of San Bernardino County, where she worked for 17 years. Pamela had a tender herat and always saw the good in the people she worked with and believed in second chances, she was a helper and God's servant in every sense.
During her life she enjoyed many hobbies. Early on Pamela enjoyed crocheting, always making blankets as gifts. Some of her favorite passions were reading, antique collecting, gardening and piano playing. What Pamela loved most was her family and the church
She is survived by her parents, Carl and Florence Berry; Husband Robert Mott-Smith; Three Brothers, Steve, Alan and Pat and two Sisters Kathy and Cindy; Three Children, Andrea Rocha, Mark and Robert Sacks; two son-in-law Joe Rocha and daughter-in-law Allison Sacks-Smith; Five Grand- children, Monique, Madicella and Anthony Rocha and Bryce and Shane Sacks. Pamela is also survived by her adoring Shih-tzus, Mickey #2 and Shep.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 24, 2014. Rosary service will be at 9:30 am with Memorial service to follow at 10:00 am. Services will be held at St. Adelaide Church at 27457 East Baseline Street, Highland, CA 92346.
