I played for Coach Damewood at Azusa Pacific College. He was a good coach, every bit the Marine, and pushed us hard. We didn't have many wins, but many of us went into coaching and became successful, due in no small part to him.

He was my Pop, my life coach and my friend. How blessed I was to know him and how blessed my children have been to have the best Grandpa who loved them so very much. Like he always told me to live by the rules of the "game" - make sure you stick together, watch eachothers backs, do all you say you are going to do, encourage one another, play defensively, never underestimate your opponent and most importantly - we are in this to win! You will always be a winner in my eyes Pop.

Love your daughter and your friend,

Les

To each family member may I say that
Bob will be missed and will always hold a warm memory in my heart forever. He was a man above many and understood the true meaning of loyalty, trust and devotion to his beautiful wife and family. We each know what a devoted Christian he was that he believed in his eternal salvation with His Lord and Master. God has a special place in heaven for Bob and heaven is truly blessed with his presence. Someday we will all be reunited as the scriptures promise. With all my love, Kate
