I was very saddened to read about the passing of Violet. Walter and Violet were a fixture in the nursery business and a trip to their nursery was a mix of stepping back in time and a bit of Heaven. If you were trying to find a special plant chances were Persson's would have it. They were always more than happy to answer questions and were a warehouse of knowledge. They were such a lovely couple, blessed with wonderful daughters. I missed the nursery and now I will miss them.

Really miss the Persson's and the nursery, great family. Purchased many plants there most I still have, and my favorite thing was a cat I named Jeeter he looked like a panther an behaved like a baby. Had him for 14 years. He was born in a pickup at Persson's many years ago. Thanks for the wonderful memories.
