In Loving Memory of ROBERT E. TRYON JEAN C. TRYON Passed away this year after a long, wonderful life together. Robert was born & raised in Los Angeles. Jean was born in Lindsay, Okla. and raised in Paul's Valley, Okla., until she traveled to Southern California to attend the Chouinard Art Institute. In many of his houses he included personal touches which he and Jean designed, made and installed. He was a long standing member of the AIA, and rose to president of the Pasadena & Foothill chapter, AIA, in 1961. He was also a member of the University Club, Oneonta Club, Boy Scouts, Pasadena & Foothill Photo Club, and the Valley Hunt Club. He was active in South Pasadena city life as a member of the Planning Commission, Advisory boards, Friends of the Library, and South Pasadena Beautiful organization.
